Pathway to Victory is a broadcast ministry of First Dallas.
A few weeks ago we tested how an email following a text message impacted over all conversions, https://app.winstonknows.com/experiment/6675.
As a follow up to this test we wanted to test the opening paragraph of the follow up email. Does the mention of the text message received impact conversions or is it just the presence of the follow up email with the same offer?
In the previous experiment above we did mention the text message therefore this test is removing the messaging to see if conversions are impacted.

This experiment has a required sample size of 164,853 in order to be valid. Unfortunately, the required sample size was not met and a level of confidence above 95% was not met so the experiment results are not valid.
Key Learnings
The key learning from this experiment is that removing the language mentioning a text message did not have a significant impact on conversions. Although the treatment saw a 3.3% increase in donations for all traffic, the statistical level of confidence was only 10.8%, which is below the threshold of 85% for results to be considered valid.
Therefore, it is important not to draw any definitive conclusions from this experiment. In future experimentation, it would be beneficial to conduct further tests with larger sample sizes or different variations to validate the results and gain more reliable insights. Additionally, it would be useful to explore other factors that could potentially impact conversions, such as the content of the follow-up email or the timing of the communication.
