Hey there, it’s Tim Kachuriak.
I wanted to send a quick word of encouragement as Christmas rapidly approaches and as the year moves to its end.
One of our core values here at NextAfter is to be courageous. And what that means to our staff is that we refuse to live in our fears.
We fight for our convictions. We make bold decisions. We press forward even when the path isn’t always that clear.
Now I’m sure you’ll agree that in 2020 nothing was really all that clear, especially for fundraisers and marketers like you.
And we’ve had to find ways to engage our donors, raise funds, hit goals, sometimes using techniques and tools that we’ve really never used before.
And so I’d like to say two things…
Number one, thank you for being courageous, for pressing forward, for not living in your fears, for testing new ways of inspiring your supporters to give to your work.
And number two, as the year turns over, it doesn’t mean that everything is going to go back to normal.
2021 is going to have its own series of challenges and opportunities. So we have to continue to be courageous, continue to innovate and to test and discover new ways of inspiring people to take part in the miracle of generosity.
Finally, on behalf of myself and the entire team here at NextAfter, we want to wish you a merry Christmas, a happy new year, a successful year end campaign. And know that we will be there cheering you on and look forward to seeing you in 2021 and beyond.
